Spiritual Judo
In the darkest storms, the Holy Spirit shows up. Often we are in too much emotional pain to sense Him, but He’s still there, standing beside us, quietly working.
I’m excited, because the One we worship is the only Being in the universe who can bring good out of evil. After all, the crucifixion was an torturous, ugly, evil thing, shameful and degrading. But three days later, Jesus rose and opened the way into Heaven.
Satan rejoiced when he incited men to kill Jesus. Until too late, he saw that he’d been tricked. The Trinity’s ultimate plan? To destroy the devil’s power, and set the human captives free.
Jesus became our Savior and Redeemer. Then His followers proceeded to carry the Holy Spirit throughout the earth.
The Almighty brings good out of evil. I call it spiritual judo and it delights me.
Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with his purpose; (Romans 8:28 CJB)
