Uniquely Mine
Last September, I started my 11th year as a blogger. I found out early that I loved creating memes. There’s a wealth of challenging Christian sayings on the Internet. If I feel convicted or encouraged, I often share those quotes in The Faithful Wanderer.
But these memes today are unique. Because they are 100% mine. I chose the images and came up with the sayings. Some of my personal memes are very old. The latest I created today. I hope one or two will give you new way of seeing things spiritually.
Has Jesus Christ forgiven you? Yes. He forgave your worst sins 2000 years ago and He hasn’t changed His mind. (M.H. Puccini)
If you think sin is fun, you’re looking at the bait. (M.H. Puccini
The Holy Spirit? He’s the Divine Influencer. (M.H. Puccini)
When the Holy Spirit puts up a “No Swimming” sign, do we listen? (M.H. Puccini)
Frogs mistake swimming pools for ponds and jump in. But they don’t die from the chemicals. They drown. When the Holy Spirit says “Don’t!” He’s trying to protect us.
Forgetting to invite God is like forgetting to invite the surgeon when a kidney transplant has been scheduled. Nothing’s going to happen without Him. (M.H. Puccini)
Did you pray for rain? Then where is your umbrella? (M.H. Puccini)
Our Lord came the first time as a lamb and meekly acted like one, but don’t be fooled. Underneath Jesus has always been the Lion. (M.H. Puccini)
Use me today Jesus, and you don’t have to tell me about it. (M.H. Puccini)
This meme’s highly personal. When I became born-again, I had a lot of pride. So my arrogance was the first thing the Lord worked on. I’ve gotten much better, but I still pray this prayer over myself several times a year.
Grumpy, bad-tempered, reluctant obedience is still obedience; and our God always blesses us when we obey. (M.H. Puccini)
It’s startling just how much grumpy, bad-tempered, reluctantly obedient people are in the Bible. Can you think of a few examples?
My Spiritual Point
These memes are 100% mine, So I deserve all the blame or all the credit. But I’ll let you in on a little secret. What I write often challenges me.
So if one of these memes has spoken to you too, let me know in the comments below.
