Hidden Evil
The people who do the greatest evil in this world are often wonderful speakers. So how do we guard against following the wrong person down a dark path?
- Check the fruit.
- Compare the leader’s actions and words to those of Christ.
- We need to be humble enough to know we can be deceived.
- Pray and ask the Spirit of Truth for clarity.
Lastly be willing to listen to the opposing side of every argument. Often those I disagree with will bring up valid points I’ve never thought of.
