Jesus’ Most Painful Commandment
When Jesus commanded us to forgive our enemies, He gave us a special gift. Indulging in resentment, bitterness and rage over past mistreatment poisons our joy. It cripples healthy relationships and blinds us to our present blessings. The only cure is forgiveness. When we forgive our enemies, we heal our own emotional wounds.
