On a Freezing Evening
This evening I saw something which confused me at first,. I live in the southern United States. We seldom get snow here. But tonight the weather was very cold, with a rain-snow mix.. Even with the heater on, I shivered in my car. Well, I stopped at the Chick-fil-A drive-thru to pick up a hot meal. Two employees stood outside taking people’s orders and payment. I was waiting my turn and keeping 
the car window rolled up until the last possible second.
Soon I saw a woman employee walk outside. For no reason, she began taking off her warm winter coat. It was freezing—why would she do that?
But then she helped her male co-worker put on the warm winter coat and went back inside.
She might forget the kind deed she did tonight, but I don’t think he ever will.
My Spiritual Point
Jesus modeled compassion and kindness more than anything else.
So, do we want to bless others this Christmas season? Then, let’s respond to people with kindness. Who knows? One of our good deeds might just be remembered for a lifetime.
